About the Sleepio blog

Welcome to the Sleepio blog!

Sleepio is an organisation dedicated to finding new ways to help people sleep better. It was co-founded by Professor Colin Espie, who has spent 25 years studying sleep problems. He founded and runs the Sleep Centre at the University of Glasgow and chairs the World Sleep Federation task force on Insomnia.

The Sleepio blog aims to be the premier resource on sleep science and culture on the web. We are currently collecting information about people’s sleep to help us develop new tools and methods to promote good sleep – you can help by completing the Great British Sleep Survey. It only takes five minutes and you’ll get a free Sleep Report with tailored advice.

Follow us on Twitter and Facebook to get all the latest updates on the survey results and new developments in the world of sleep.

You can find answers to common questions about the survey on our About page, but we’d love to hear your ideas and opinions about the project. Email us on hello [at] sleepio [dot] com and we’ll respond as soon as possible.

Please note that although we welcome your general feedback we do not have the resource to give individual advice relating to your specific health problems.
